Just outside Sedona, Arizona, rests 131-acres of enchanted land serving as a reminder that connections are what give life meaning. Rancho Almasomos is a premiere agritourism destination, curated for families, by families, that will reconnect guests to their food and the earth from which it comes. Visitors everywhere from our very own Verde Valley to all over the world are welcome to experience Rancho Almasomos for themselves and reconnect their souls to the beauty and bounty of the earth.  We host guest experiences and community events that inspire deeper connections, instill hope of a healthy future, and illuminate the splendor of the Verde Valley.

What is Biodynamics?

Rancho Almasomos is striving to be Arizona’s first Demeter Certified biodynamic farm. Biodynamics treats the farm as if it's a living organism. Through these holistic regenerative farming practices, we are strengthening soil health, growing nutrient-dense food without the harsh chemical and GMO inputs of commercial farming, and restoring the planet's natural defenses against climate change by sequestering carbon instead of releasing it.

Together We Thrive

Teamwork here is more than collaboration; it's a deep commitment to each other and to the earth. We move with intention, supporting one another with honesty and compassion, always mindful of the greater good. Whether we're planting seeds, nurturing soil, or solving the challenges that arise, we do it together—grounded in trust, fueled by a spirit of resilience, and always with an eye toward transformation. Because when we work as one, we don't just create a thriving farm; we cultivate a community that embodies the harmony of nature itself.

Education & Outreach

At Rancho Almasomos, connecting people to the biodynamic method of building sustainable, nutrient-rich soil, and the delicious food that grows out of it, is a huge part of our mission. The biodynamic living organism we are creating here at the ranch goes beyond the boundaries of the property.

  • We work with local schools to provide educational field trip opportunities for kids of all ages.

  • We deliver our surplus nutrient-rich produce to local food banks.

  • We provide local chefs and restaurants with seasonal produce.

  • We have a great volunteer program for folks looking to get their hands dirty.

  • We host community, public and private events.

  • We provide space for educational workshops ranging from yoga to how to can peaches.

We are always looking for additional ways to serve the community at large, please reach out to Kevin if you have have any ideas on future collaborations or partnerships.
