For those of you that were able to attend our Community Participation Event held on Saturday October 19th, here are a few take aways to keep in mind about what we are building here at Rancho Almasomos and what you can expect from us in the future:

•    A New Kind of Agritourism: We're challenging traditional high-end "nature retreat" models by offering more than just a tourist getaway. Our vision is to provide everyday spaces for gathering and events that local residents can enjoy, fostering stronger community connections.

•    Biodynamic and Regenerative Agriculture: Our commitment to Biodynamics allows us to create a healing relationship with the land. Through regenerative agriculture practices, we nurture the environment while offering educational and recreational opportunities for everyone.

•    Community-Centric Amenities: Our bistro, seasonal festivals, and spaces designed for you to gather and connect. We're dedicated to making Rancho Almasomos a place that serves our neighbors first.

•    Sustainable Development and Environmental Stewardship: Our low density thoughtfully designed site plan uses naturalistic materials that blend with the surroundings. We focus on working only with already disturbed land to minimize environmental impact, each building touching the ground lightly. Our conservation strategies include using water and energy efficiently, and creating ways for the site to hold and store more water than it currently is.

•    Active Community Involvement: We envision many ways for you to be involved and activate these spaces. From participating in agricultural activities in our Biodynamic fields to engaging in programs and events, your involvement is key to bringing our shared vision to life.
