A Toy Giving Holiday Afternoon at the Theatre Compliments of Rancho Almasomos

Kat Massey - Founder of Rancho Almasomos Ranch and Kevin Wheeler - Chief Operations Officer, Public Relations & Outreach celebrate the holidays with a special showing of The Muppet Christmas Carol. Donations went to Toys for Tots.

On Sunday December 8th at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre, Sedona was filled with the soft glow of twinkling lights and the gentle hum of holiday cheer. Families, friends and neighbors settled in under the inviting warmth of the theater’s atmosphere, ready to share in an afternoon of festive delight. We hosted the entire event, and welcomed everyone at 4:00 PM for a beloved Christmas classic—The Muppet Christmas Carol—a film that perfectly captured the gentle spirit of the season.

Guests brought new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots. The sounds of children’s laughter created an atmosphere brimming with anticipation. Many attendees offered more than just toys but monetary donations to ensure that even more children would find comfort and joy this holiday. And as the joyful voices of The Muppets danced on the screen, children snuggled close to parents and grandparents, their eyes shining with delight!

Rancho Almasomos plans to make this heartwarming holiday celebration a cherished annual tradition— one that will continue to bring the community together, stirring up feelings of generosity, togetherness, and pure festive magic year after year.

Rancho Almasomos is located in the Cornville area of The Verde Valley in Arizona. The ranch bases its growing practices on regenerative bio-dynamics and provides a natural space for community.
